PP-UM Model
MANUAL WET BLASTING
The PP-UM wet-blasting machines are intended to handle a homogeneous combination of shot, air, and water. The end outcome is a surface soft blasting technique (in comparison to a dry blasting process). The typical shot-to-water ratio is 30% shots and 70% water. Corundum, silicates, and glass beads are the most frequent shots. A specific pump (heavy duty design for aggressive liquids) allows the solution to be kept homogenous and distributes the mixture to the blasting cannon. The pressurized air ensures proper shot impact on the surface (6-8 bars). The procedure is manual.
